DENWOODDESIGN

From the first call to the fitted units in place

Six stages: quote, survey, working drawings, production, delivery, installation.

Six stages. Through the whole job you have one phone number and one person who answers for everything.

1. Enquiry and initial quote

You write or call to say what you need. If you have a floor plan, drawings or a visualisation, attach them to the e-mail. We send back an initial quote so that you know the order of magnitude before we measure anything.

2. Interior design, if you need it

If you have no design yet, we can prepare a concept for the whole interior or for chosen rooms, with visualisations.

3. Survey at your place

We come out and take the measurements on site. We check plumb, level, the run of the services and the places where a wall isn’t as straight as it is on the floor plan. A developer’s floor plan can be a few centimetres out.

4. Working drawings and final quote

You get drawings with the layout of the fronts, drawers and appliances, plus a materials list. You can see exactly where every drawer goes and what will fit in it.

5. Production

The units are built from the approved working drawings.

6. Delivery and installation

We deliver, install and adjust. We clear up after ourselves and show you how to adjust the fronts after the heating season. Wood and board move, that is normal and it takes a minute to put right if you know how.

How long does it take?

We give ranges rather than a single figure, because the lead time depends on the scope.

  • Reply to an enquiry: usually 2–5 working days.
  • Initial quote: usually 5–7 working days from the full set of information. Full set means: dimensions or a floor plan, photos of the room, and what has to fit into it.
  • Production: most often 5–7 weeks from approval of the production drawings and materials, and receipt of the agreed payment.
  • Installation: 1 to 5 days, depending on the scope of the unit.

Warranty, survey and price

  • Warranty: 24 months.
  • The survey is free once you have accepted the initial quote and decided to work with us, within an agreed distance of Tarnów or Kraków.
  • The price is fixed after the survey and your written approval of the production drawings, the scope and the materials. From that point it does not change, unless you make changes yourself or order additional work.

The last point is the one clients ask about most often, because in this trade it often goes otherwise. That is why it is in writing and not just said on the phone.

For projects further afield in Poland and for those in Germany and Austria, we agree travel, transport and any overnight costs individually before the contract is signed.

Quote

You do not need a design to get a quote

A phone photo of the room and a note about what has to fit into it are enough. Do you have a floor plan, a visualisation or a PDF from an architect? Send it by e-mail. The quote will then be more accurate.
